Ralph Pirozzo, founder and managing director of Promoting Learning International, has worked for 15 years to develop a planning matrix that incorporates current educational theories and research into a practical learning and thinking tool. Having formerly worked as a secondary science teacher in Canada and Australia, Ralph has had over 60 articles published in local and international journals on subjects such as improving thinking and cooperative learning. He is the founder and president of Peninsula Enrichment Program Inc. and has received multiple honours and awards for his work as an educator, including an Excellence Award from the Australian College of Education in 2001. Ralph’s publications with Hawker Brownlow Education include Improving Thinking in the Classroom, The Thinking School, 50 Cooperative Learning Activities and Differentiating the Curriculum.
